New Teeth!

This weekend, we noticed that Oliver has two new teeth. They are his lower molars and they are his first permanent teeth! He, however, hadn't felt a thing and actually had thought that he had popcorn stuck in his teeth.

Oliver is such a great kid. He is really into just about everything. He loves anything to do with buildings and legos and draws house plans for his treehouse quite a bit. He has a rather elaborate addition planned. The coffee table and the kitchen table now house semi-permanent Lego displays that are quite impressive structures.

He is also very interested in math and talks about multiplication tables and square roots alot, altho he isn't sure what they are. He also has an amazing vocabulary. He embraces new words and then uses them correctly with flair! He is always amazing us with his comprehension and language.

Deciding what types of activities to put him into has become very difficult. He wants to do everything, and is quite good at most of it. We will keep him in piano, gymnastics and swimming in the fall, and we are considering either art class at the Winnipeg Art Gallery or drama class at Manitoba Theater for Young People, both of which are good options. He is really looking forward to Grade 1, which begins right after labor day.
