Halloween Party Pictures
We hosted a kids' Halloween party on Saturday at the local community center. All the neighbors brought food and decorations and the kids had a great time. Oliver and his girlfriend, Lauren, danced the night away.
More Halloween Party
More halloween photos. Oliver was the best Harry Potter. For some reason, many of my neighbors dressed up as witches. I guess we are officially the Witches of Elm Street. Marcelo dressed like this for both the party and trick-or-treating the next day. I called him the Genie with a Bottle/The Sultan of Swing. He looked very cute. The baby we are holding is Brodie, who was dressed as Brodie the Builder.

The Gang of Pirates Waiting for Instructions
Oliver had a treasure hunt for his birthday. The kids were goven clues and all the neighbors helped out. In the end, each child found a gold treasure chest with his name on it and was then given lots of jewels and baubles to decorate the chest.
Strange Cargo
Susan, Amy's sister in Dallas, sent Oliver this strangely-shaped package. Marcelo found it so fascinating that he took photos; Oliver, on the other hand knew IMMEDIATELY that it contained a Nimbus 2000 (Harry Potter's broom).
